Your letter dated January 28, 2004, to the Honourable Michael Bryant, Attorney General for Ontario, has been referred to me for reply.
Thank you for expressing your support for the facilitation process to resolve the issue of public access to beaches in Tiny Township. The stakeholders are to be commended for their commitment to the process and for the success they have achieved to date.
The draft “Cease-fire” agreement must be carefully reviewed to ensure that the parties can abide by its terms and that the interests of all stakeholders are appropriately addressed. The stakeholders are encouraged to work toward sustainable agreements that will resolve the beach access issue.
